May is Domestic Violence Month, a time to reflect on the importance of advocating against domestic and family violence. Domestic and family violence disproportionately impacts women, with 1 in 4 women experiencing physical violence at some point in their relationship. There is a common misunderstanding that domestic violence only occurs in romantic relationships and that it is only physical abuse but it can emotional, sexual and spiritual abuse and can impact families, children, elders and the community. It is our responsibility as a community to have conversations with our families, loved ones and mates about domestic and family violence to bring more light to this issue that impacts so many people in this country. Domestic violence is something to advocate against, not only in May but every day!#domesticviolence #familyviolence #australia #prevention #awareness #advocacy ... See MoreSee Less

We’ve been a bit quiet on socials but only because we’ve been super busy BTS 🙊 The team has been working really hard on delivering quality workshops to the young people of Logan. Our focus this week across our groups was green flags vs red flags 🚩 There’s been a lot of reflective conversations discussing when does compromise go too far? Can you still continue to date someone if they give you the “ick” Lots to think about.. #endDFV #relationshipviolence #youngpeople #respect #healthyrelationships #respectfulrelationships #youth #consenteducation #agentsofchange ...
