Request a workshop

Our R4Respect peer educators facilitate workshops with young people to examine the connections between power, gender and violence.

We have found that face-to-face connections are most effective, particularly when complemented with social media. We focus on school visits and community events as a strategy to reach young people.

"I thought it was an excellent programme. The big picture is how impressive and aware many of the students were on a lot of these issues. Having students being so articulate on these relationship issues is so important. The peer learning that happened during that presentation was outstanding."

Our facilitators

Our team is made up of members from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and identities. All youth facilitators in our programs have current Blue Cards and have undergone the nationwide ‘Love Bites’ facilitator training.

Youth workers have a standardised presentation accredited by the team which they are only able to modify on request. The standard presentation covers some of the following material:

  • Respectful Relationships
  • Controlling/Coercive Behaviour
  • Domestic Violence
  • Consent
  • Sexual Assault
  • Sexting
  • Gender Stereotypes
  • Toxic Masculinity

"Everyone was amazing, understood perspective and made everyone comfortable."
